WOVEN’S WEBSITE / THE BROADER COMMERCE EXPERIENCE
01 / THE CHALLENGE
A visual catalog needs a clear structure.
Customers and interior designers need to explore a rich catalog without losing their place. Behind that experience, the internal team needs products and collection assignments to arrive correctly from the inventory system.
My work connects these two sides: clearer navigation and persistent browsing choices on the storefront, supported by better catalog organization and integration work.
02 / THE BROWSING EXPERIENCE
Keep the path through the catalog intact.
01
Find a starting point
Rebuilt desktop and mobile navigation and clarified collection hierarchies.
02
Keep selected filters
Updated catalog pagination to preserve selected filters as visitors move through results.
03
Browse on smaller screens
Refined responsive layouts, product sliders, and scrolling across the mobile experience.
03 / AI-ASSISTED CLASSIFICATION
Give visual differences a useful structure.
I developed AI-assisted workflows to classify antique rugs by color, age, design, and condition, alongside advanced product search and filtering tools.
01
Color
The rug’s visual palette.
02
Age
Its historical period.
03
Design
Its pattern and visual character.
04
Condition
Its physical state.

04 / THE SYSTEMS BEHIND IT
Discovery depends on catalog integrity.
CATALOG OPERATIONS
Inventory → website
Audited the FileMaker-to-website integration and developed fixes for incomplete product imports and missing collection assignments.
IMPLEMENTATION QUALITY
Maintainable, checked changes
Reorganized legacy styles into reusable components, isolated page-specific styles, and used staged updates, responsive previews, regression checks, and rollback packages.
05 / THE WIDER DISCOVERY STRATEGY
Connect the storefront to search visibility.
The broader 2026 program connected product and collection content, search metadata, business markup, regional category optimization, and WOVEN’s knowledge library. A catalog entity map and organized internal knowledge gave the content work a shared foundation.
Competitive research and custom-prompt tracking informed what to improve. Citation reviews, a custom dashboard, and daily audits supported an ongoing cycle of content updates and visibility research.
